Binding is sound, but the book is lightly bowed, convex to front cover. Colour illustrated DJ shows wear and soiling commensurate w age and handling; closed tear bottom front corner, chipping to 2cm head and tail. DJ now preserved in archival cover. No date: circa 1940-41, after the Dunkirk evacuation. Eighteen descriptive essays about Britain's Navy, its work and personnel.
