This little pamphlet begins with the authorizing of an American navy by the Continental Congress of 1775 and brings the history to date of publication. Rear cover has the complete records for marksmanship of the ships competing in Class I (5 inch caliber or larger), Class II (4 inch caliber or smaller) and Torpedo Craft.
