About This Item
Louvain / Paris: Editions Nauwelaerts, 1964. Paperback. xxviii, 149p., period illustrations on inserted coated stock, a softbound enclosed in a utilitarian library casing of black buckram boards, gilt titled. Ex library with a prim bookplate to pastedown and, below it, the library's withdrawal (item "removed") notice. Signatures opened neatly by hand throughout. Insertion into a casebinding has caused slight damage to titlepage of the original paperback, the binder's glue picked up first three letters of authorial credit (i.e., the Jea of Jean. Trivial, but an irritant to the eye. Otherwise a very satisfactory reading copy: unmarked except for the small labels on pastedown, entirely clean, and quite sound if slightly uglified.
