About This Item
U.S.A.: Doubleday , 1959. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. From the collection of M.B. and Adrian Homer Goldstone-brother collectors and Steinbeck's bibliographer--a fine copy in a very good minus unclipped dustjacket. This copy has been signed "With Love Daphne, July 1968" directly on the front free endpaper. A tight and clean copy in light olive cloth with blue lettering to the spine--with only mild toning on the end pages. The dustjacket is complete and unclipped with a price of $3.95--with moderate rubbing to the rear panel and edgewear to the edges and spine--with some loss of paper at the upper spine. Still a very scarce copy signed by the author. A combination of 9 stories "In the vein of Rebecca and My Cousin Rachel". Will be well packed and shipped in a box.
