Boston: Lee & Shepard, 1876. Later printing. Octavo. 303 pp; illustrated with b/w engravings and engraved frontispiece and title page with tissue guards. Blindstamped green cloth with gilt titles and decoration on spine. G+ Binding fairly worn around spine tips, corners and front hinge, cloth splits on front and rear hinges, although not completely. Binding remains firm and tight, frontispiece is starting to detach. Boards somewhat scuffed. Internally, pages mildly toned, plates clean and bright. Early owner name and address on ffep from 1912.. Hard Cover. Very Good.
