London, John Baker, 1968 Hardcover book, first edition in dustjacket. Illustrated with many photographs. Showing how trades, farmers clergy, landowners were held in bondage to the soil. Various letters and notes included inside front cover concerning the Vince family. which features in the book. Sellotape mark to endpaper, otherwise Very Good in a Very Good but worn and sunned dustjacket. The Book has a large gift inscription from F.H.Vince on the title page. Pictures available.
