Quarter dark brown cloth and tan paper covered boards, gilt lettering on spine and brown lettering with paste-down photo of Botha on front cover, 8vo, 68 pp. Illustrated with "Five Diagrams and Eighty-two Illustrations mostly by the author." This copy does not contain the photographs of rebels, after page 8, that was ordered removed by military censors. Account of the campaign in German Southwest Africa led by General Louis Botha (1862-1919) at the start of World War I. Book shows light foxing, minor soiling to edges of text block and covers, binding tight. Book condition VG-.
