About This Item
Jacksonville, FL: Both Sides Now, Publisher, 1973. Tabloid. Good. 12 pp. Photos and illustrations throughout. Single issue of this haphazardly published "counter-cultural (underground) newspaper," from Jacksonville, Florida. Despite the small audience of like minds in Jacksonville, Florida, the FBI felt the paper was enough of a threat to form its own underground paper to compete with Both Sides Now, publishing two issues before giving up. Usual "movement" subjects covered, along with several pieces on the Watergate scandal; news on the Gainsville 8, being Vietnam vets against the war; a printing of a letter by Dick Gregory and Noam Chomsky on Wounded Knee and the American Indian Movement, etc. GOOD+ condition. Minor general toning. Horizontal fold crease present.
