Green cloth with titles and cover decoration of sailing ship with men nearby in rowboat stamped in silver. Octavo. 374 pages. Endpaper maps.Previous owner's name in ink on front endpaper, bookplate to front pastedown, small price sticker from Meyer and Frank Department store on rear endpaper. Text clean, no marks, etc. with light even toning to supple pages. In complete dust jacket with original publisher's $2.50 price on inside flap. Jacket has some wear at front fold, light stain to rear panel and general toning. Nice color illustration by Wyeth to dust jacket. [see photo]. A very good copy in a near very good dust jacket in a mylar protector. Note: this is not a book club edition.
