Note in green ink on first front end paper: "Many Happy Returns to Walter R.Allen from Emory J. Tarr, January 1, 1938." Light wear to tips, spine darkly browned, Small white "T73" near spine middle, facsimiles throughout and fold-out map on heavier paper--Map of the Tour, 1773. Also includes Extract from Sir Richard Baker's Chronicle of the Kings of England and Appendix: Correspondence between Boswell and Lord Elibank. Very Good.
