n.p.: Tremont Dispatch and United States Mail Coach, 1840. Soft cover. Collectible Good. Original "Way Bill From Brattleborough and Keene to Lowell and Boston." 8 1/2" x 14/ 3/4" WITH RARE TICKET (3/3/4" x 6"). Northern, Eastern, Southern and Western Lines of Stage. Three mild fold lines. The waybill is almost completely filled in with entries in ink as is the verso. Dated September 9, 1840. The ticket is made out to ? Wethenbill (?) for $9.00 for the route Charlestown to Boston and is signed on the 8th by two agents or one on behalf of the other. Waybills like this are not too uncommon, but to have the ticket attached appears to be a rarity. Small paper loss near edge of one fold; very slight foxing. Vg.
