Grey and white decorated boards, red cloth spine with gilt titling on blue faux-label, gilt & blue decoration on spine, upper text block edge is red, illustrated end papers show a close-up sepia photograph of a bear in the woods, frontispiece is black and white map of Alaska, illustrated with three clusters of photographs - two black and white, one in colour, 344 pages. Boards have edge wear particularly to corners, corners bumped, upper right corner significantly bumped, areas of discolouration including a ring (tea?) on front, spine slightly sunned, tiny dark spot on spine, some discolouration to text block edge, front and rear hinge cracked at end papers, ink scribbling to rear end paper, small stain (tea?) on front end papers, text appears to be clean and tight, one cluster of black & white photographs show minor damp damage at edges.
