Color illustrated endpapers. Description: The illustrations by Wesley Dennis include the panoramic dust jacket scene, endpaper art, three full page paintings (in this later printing, these are printed in black and white -- in the original issue they were in color), and many smaller black and white drawings ''Set in the colorful world of harness racing, this is the true story of Rosalind, 'Queen of the Trotters', world champion trotting mare, and of the boy who owns her.'' This was originally published in 1950.
