Good-Very Good/no dustwrapper. 8vo. colour frontispiece plate Scarce 1st UK Edition Harold Bindloss novel (published in the US as Johnstone of the Border) - Harold Bindloss was an English born novelist who wrote popular adventure stories set in Western Canada (where he lived and worked for many years); green cloth boards with gilt titling to front board and spine, and with colour plate illustration laid in to front board - same illustration appears as frontispiece plate with tissue-guard; endpapers heavily tanned, prelims and text block foxed, occasional light foxing in text, o.w. G-VG throughout; boards lightly rubbed.
