Rare portraits of famous Rangers, Indian fighters and pioneers, maps, etc." A classic history of the ongoing clash between Indians and early settlers on the Texas frontier. A collection of first-hand accounts beginning in 1819 and continuing through 1845. Light-modest general wear with new endpapers and old tape repair to one plate, else a very good copy. Rarely seen in this black pictorial cloth binding.
