Bound in textured brown leatherette with gilt Modern Library embellishment and gilt lettering on the spine. Textured brown endpapers. 234 pp. Toledano 1. Includes ad pages #C4. Endpaper A. "Lord Dunsany (1878-1957) was an Anglo-Irish writer and Dramatist, who published more than 90 volumes of fiction, essays, poems and plays in his lifetime - many published posthumously. Known for the genre of crime, high fantasy, horror, science fiction and weird fiction, he gained a name in the 1910s as a great writer in the English-speaking world. He is best known for his 1924 fantasy novel, 'The King of Elfland's Daughter' and 'Gods of Pegana'." (Wikipedia). Some wear and mild discoloration along edges, particularly at the head, and the head and foot of the spine. Unmarked except for 3-digit number "368" written on the front endpaper. Some occasional mild foxing, particularly within the first seven pages at the edge. Binding is sound and pagination is complete. A nice, very readable copy. VG. Full refund if not satisfied.
