Reviews
This book centers around a family moving from Mexico to America to get better care for their daughter who recently suffered from a near-fatal accident. Their story is intertwined with other stories of immigrants. Their stories really opened up my eyes to the plights that immigrants must go through when enter America. They come here to assimilate to our culture and lead a better life, yet are often met with cruel racism. It made me realize how hard it must be for people emigrating to this country.
