Book of the Thousand Nights and One Night has 9 volumes dated 1884, Tales from the Arabic has 3 volumes dated 1884, Alaeddin and the Enchanted Lamp is 1 volume dated 1889. Tales from the Arabic and Alaeddin and the Enchanted Lamp are marked #198 of an unknown amount on half title page. All 13 volumes have matching vellum boards. Each has a decorative wrap around gold band and titles in gold on spine. Boards are noticeably soiled/foxed/ sunned. Some volumes have tears,chips at front gutter. Edge wear bumping. Deckle edges, top edges gilt. Endpapers and deckle edges noticeably tanned/ oxidized. Text pages are clean. Always carefully wrapped and shipped in cardboard boxes to protect your purchase.
