Privately Printed at the Burton Club, [ca. 1925?], 1925. 1st Edition in this form. Hardback. The 9 vols. of 'The book of the thousand nights... ' are very good copies in the original cloth. Gilt-backed titles and arabian motifs to boards and spines. Spine bands and panel edges somewhat dulled and rubbed as with age. Boards dust-toned, with some fading to spine covers. Corners bumped. Surface tear to the back cover of vol. 8. Front hinges starting to vols. 1 and 10. Slightest of yellowing to page margins. Provenance: Arabian American Oil Company, with some minor library marks remaining. The 6 volumes of 'Supplemental nights...' are in a very good condition in the original cloth, with silver-backed titles and arabian motifs to boards and spines. Spine bands and panel edges very slightly dust-toned as with age. Some staining evident to the top pages edges, with minor offset staining to the front cover of vols. 1,3 & 4. Remains particularly well-preserved overall; tight, bright, clean and strong. Further scans, images etc. and additional bibliographical material available on request.; 8vo 8"" - 9"" tall; 0 pages; Description: 15v., fronts.; 24cm. Contents: 9 volumes of The book of the thousand nights and a night / translated and annotated by Richard F.
