Illustrated throughout with numerous vignette engravings throughout. Including histories of The Globe Theatre, Old London Bridge, Hampton Court, and many others. In a decorative blue cloth binding. Externally, quite bright, though with some bumping and wear to the extremities. Spine slightly cocked. Rear joint starting. Internally, generally firmly bound although strained in places. Pages are quite bright, though with the occasional spot and handling mark. Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
