New York: E.P. Dutton & Co., Inc., 1973. First US Edition/First Printing. Hardcover. Fair/Good . A fabulous series of stories on fantastical creastures with illustrations by one of the masters. First Editon stated. In red cloth with black type. An ex-library copy with light wear to boards, Paper scars to pastedowns, with stickers, stamps and library pocket to endpapers. Taped tears to ffep. Stamps to page ends and title page. Jacket is unclipped with small chips at spine ends and a few corners. A few short tears, creasing and some sticker scars to bottom of spine. Jacket is unclipped with paper scars to insides of flaps, edgewear and a few chips and a short tear to top edges.
