About This Item
London: Archibald Constable, 1907. Hardcover. Very Good. Illustrated with beautiful plates. 258 pages with index. 15 pages of additional book listings in rear. Green Cloth over boards with gilt spine and cover lettering. During this period Constable had no reliable way of labeling its first editions. However, I have seen no listings with an earlier date than 1907 on the title page. Previous owner bookplate. Tissue from frontis is loose but present and laid-in. A very good copy with very moderate wear.
