First title in a limited edition of 500 and second, limited edition of 1000. Two pages of adverts in Second Book. The two volumes collect together various book and other illustrations by Beardsley, including those from Le Morte Darthur, Salome, The Yellow Book and other works. A handsome showcase of the iconic artist's work. Endpapers in first book toned, with book label of Mark Samuels Lasner front board paste-down, rubbing to corners and backstrip extremities. Second book with two book plates, spine darkened, wear to corners and backstrip head and foot. Interior contents of both fresh, clean and bright.
