London: Bensley, Cooke, and Collingwood, Clarendon Press., 1815. Covers and spine tooled in gilt. Intricate chain and floral borders with central gilt panels. Spine panelled with lettering and designs in gilt. Minor edge and corner wear. Thick inner dentelles with watered silk endpapers. All edges gilt with gauffered edges carrying out linear and floral designs on the covers. A finely-mellowed binding. Twelve engraved plates by R. ACKERMANN, including the engraved title-page. Each full-page plate introduces the portion of the prayer book which follows, such as the order for morning and evening prayer, burial of the dead, order of confirmation. All plates are bright with some minor toning at edges. Internally crisp and clean throughout. Print size is easily readable. 406pp.. Stereotype Edition. Full Red Morocco. Minor Wear and Soiling./No Jacket.. Royal Octavo.
