Orig. published in 1881, this is a Facsimile Reprint from 1978 of this classic work on angling, in 463 pages including Indices, + unpaginated section of ads & list of orig. publisher's other books. Hardcover octavo has rich green faux leather over boards with embossed designs in gilt & lettering to both front & spine. black & green embossed fish design to front & lettering to spine. Condition is Near Fine: aside from a faint mustiness, dye spots to endpapers, & foxing to outside page edges, the book is completely clean, binding strong & straight, pages off-white with very mild tanning to edges.
