NY: The John Day Company, Inc.. VG. 1938. 1st Edition. Hardcover. First edition bound in red cloth with black lettering and design. A Ve ry Good copy in a Good, price-clipped dust jacket. Rubs to the book's spine tips and corners. Dust spotting to the edges of the upper page b lock. The dust jacket has chips to its corners and along the head and base of its spine. The jacket's front panel has a chip at its upper ri ght corner. It has a 2" and a 3" tear at its upper left corner. Rubbin g and wear to its upper and lower edges. The rear panel has some edge tears and is dust soiled. Rubbing along the folds. .
