Alfred Kantor. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 235, (12)pp. Haunting sketches of death camps, Terezin, Auschwitz, and Schwarzheide during WWII, all done in color, two months after the artist reached a displaced-persons camp in Deggendorf, Bavaria in 1945. Following the long suite of sketches is an annotated section for captions of each sketch. Bound in illustrated boards, with matching dust jacket (2" closed tear on spine). Uncommon in hard cover.
