Hardcover with dustjacket, #75 in a Limited Edition of 950 copies, this copy is inscribed to no one in particular and signed and dated by the author: "Yours for better understanding of bird dogs - Horace Lytle - Dayton Ohio May 10th 1941." Burgundy cloth with a mounted gold oval raised illustration of a running bird dog on the front cover, the following flaws are present: short tape-marks on the edges of the end-papers, the spine and top portion of the front cover are slightly faded, and overall tanning to the top outer page-edge, the binding is tight and clean and the contents are fine, the original acetate jacket has some edge-loss, six small pieces of tape on the edges, and heavy scuffing, we include the jacket for obvious reasons but the book looks much nicer without it; 197 pages; Signed by Author .
