An edition de luxe, limited to five hundred copies, of which this is numbered two-hundred and thirty-five. Published concurrently with the first edition.Signed by the author to the limitation page.A charming topographical study on Scotland, looking at the picturesque landscapes of the country, both rural and city scenes.Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, and seventy-four colour plates.Collated, complete.Written by A. R. Hope Moncrieff.Illustrated by Sutton Palmer. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, a little discoloured and marked, as is usual with a white binding. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine, heavier to the extremities, with a small amount of loss of cloth to the tail of the front board. Faint ring marks to the front board. Amateur repair to the front hinge. Rear hinge is starting but firm. Lacking half of the front endpaper, with two ink inscriptions to the recto. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with scattered spots, mostly to the tissue guards. Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
