About This Item
This is a limited edition copy of Henri Murger's The Bohemians of the Latin Quarter, the basis for the opera La Boheme. It was published by the Societe Des Beaux-Arts; this volume is inscribed #206 of 500 copies. It is bound in maroon cloth boards and has random cut pages with gilt tops, somewhat worn. The interior is excellent, but the corners are bumped and worn and the paper label on the spine is discolored. There is a lovely full color frontispiece, as shown. Lovely volume!
