About This Item

Melbourne: E. W. Cole, 1895. Paperback small, very good condition, card cover, few black & white drawings, pages toned, spine repaired (black cloth), few page edges repaired, some edgewear. 120 pp. Humorous adventure stories for young adults. The author also wrote "A Bad Boy's Diary" (see advert inside rear cover). Some people incorrectly assume the author is George Wilbur Peck, who wrote a series of "Bad Boy" humorous novels post-dating Victor's novel (see advert inside front cover for "Peck's Bad Boy and his Pa"). Rear page: a list of 10 schoolbooks published by E. W. Cole. (Scarce. No date, but 1890s, Trove. Originally published, New York, 1891.)
