No dust-jackets, albeit both volumes now in protective acetate wraps. Preface by Douglas Southall Freeman. Top edges stained red. 1201 pages. Bibliography and index at end of vol. II. Illustrated with maps, drawings and photographs. No previous ownership marks. Incidental light flaking to gold spine titles, else a clean, square, unmarked set in pristine slipcase. Very good+ in fine box. A heavy set, extra postage will apply.. Later Printing. Hardcover. Very Good+/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
