Present issue is dedicated to the play Der Kaufmann von Berlin by Walter Mehring, directed by Erwin Piscator. Stage design of the play was created by László Moholy-Nagy, who is also listed as the director of a film with the same title. The cover is illustrated with a photographic reproduction of Moholy-Nagy's set design. Other illustrations by Georg Grosz (1893-1959) and Otto Schmalhausen (1890-1958).
