BOOK INFO: 'It is because the Armenian massacres in Turkey are clearly established, because responsibilities can be definitely fixed, and because an appeal to humanity can be made on behalf of the remnant of the Armenian race in the Ottoman Empire without the slightest suspicion of political interest that the author deems it advisable and imperative at this moment to call attention to what is undoubtedly the blackest page in modern history, to set forth the facts and to point out the responsibilities.' (from the title page). Sources, pp. 69-71. Armenian question; Ottoman Empire
