Oakland: Black Panther Party, 1968. Newspaper. 24p. tabloid format newspaper; horizontal fold, paper toned, otherwise very good. Christmas themed issue with Emory Douglas artwork depicting Black youths capturing Pig Santa at gunpoint in their fireplace, captioned "Pig Xmas sham ending. Back cover depicts "Black Revolutionary Xmas Wishes" (armaments). Page 15 notes plan to work with an Episcopal church to provide free breakfasts, which became one of the Panthers' hallmark programs. Includes information on how to volunteer.
