New York: The Modern Library, 1939. Clean and tight and square. Fairly sharp corners. Red boards with gold lettering within a black box on the spine and on the front. Gold Torchbearer. The endpapers have the Torchbearer in the middle surrounded by alternating gray "M"s and books. Dark blue tint to the tiptops of the pages. The dust jacket has a bit of wear and chipping and light scuffing along the edges. The spine is sunned. There are 360 outstanding titles listed on the inside of the jacket. The jacket is in new mylar. Modern Library 256.. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Fiction.
