Marlon James (born 1970) is a Jamaican novelist who has written four novels: John Crow's Devil (2005), The Book of Night Women (2009), A Brief History of Seven Killings (2014:, winner of the 2015 Man Booker Prize), and BLACK LEOPARD, RED WOLF (2019). The last is first book of a planned trilogy. It blends African history, mythology, and fantasy. Michael Jordan purchased film rights pre-publication.
