This book offers an unprecedented insight into the controversial life of this great Australian politician and leader of the Country Party, a longtime coalition partner of the Liberal Party. 'Black Jack' referred to his dark demeanour when crossed, and Menzies likened him to Scottish warrior. Preface by Doug Anthony. The author was a longtime jourmalist with the 'Melbourne Argus', who works in public relations.(This is a hardcover book.)
