About This Item
New York: Doubleday, Doran & Company, 1929. First US edition, first printing. Published by Doubleday, Doran & Company in New York, 1929. This is a near fine copy. Sadly lacking the dust wrapper. The black boards, with red titling, are slightly faded but otherwise markedly tight and clean. The corners and spine tips are bumped with some slight breaches in the cloth. The text blocks are very clean, without foxing. The internals are slightly foxed in places and there is a slightly soiled edge to the front fly. This copy is without inscriptions and is, overall, in near fine condition. The first Albert Campion title.
