With a large promotional postcard for the 2012 "Celebrating 25 years of writing and the West" Summer Fishtrap writers conference laid in (the image is a trout, and the theme was "Catch and Release" with a keynote address by David James Duncan). The Josephys are an important part of the history in Joseph, Oregon, where Fishtrap is held. Fine book in a very near fine jacket.

Rural Hours (formerly Wood + River = Books, est. 2019) specializes in ecology, natural history, nature writing, the environment, environmental literature, and contemporary essay, with a special passion for association copies and notable inscriptions.
