New York: G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1969. Not stated. Hardcover. Very Good/good. 506 pages, illustrated with black and white photo section. The story of Hitler's desperate gamble in an effort to cause the collapse of the Allied coalition. Black cloth binding with gilt titles and small leaf decoration on front cover and spine, maps on end papers. Light edge wear, a little fading along edges of cover, corners and spine ends a little bumped, smudges and a little spotting of cover, gilt bright, interior pages clean and just a little tanned, owner's signature on half title and gift inscription on title page, binding tight. Black dust jacket with multi-colored titles shows some wear and scrubbing along edges, creases, short tears along edges, soiling along inner folds, tanning, chip in back cover dust jacket, short tear along back fold of jacket, not price clipped.
