About This Item
Harvill Press: London, 2002. First edition (& 1st printing). Hardcover. Anthology, selected/edited by Murakami with a 12-page introduction from him (and short introduction to each story).. First printing with ''2 4 6 8 10 9 7 5 3 1'' on copyright page. Includes Raymond Carver, Paul Theroux, William Trevor and Murakami's own story ''Birthday Girl''. Not sure if this 1st printing was issued with a dustjacket, a Harvill fourth printing from 2004 DOES have a dustjacket, so I assume this was as well, but this 2002 1st printing seems to be very uncommon and can find little information that will help. Fine copy as issued (?) without dustjacket.
