Washington, D.C.: The Smithsonian Institution, 1965. FIRST EDITION, Inscribed "To Nada Kramar with the sincerest regards of Alexander Wetmore" In a different (darker) ink is the date "november 4, 1936". I don't know what this date would have to do with Nada Kramar (collector and cataloger of North American Wildflowers). Full green cloth with gold medallion on the front cover and golt lettering on the spine. Jacket has moderate scuffing and light wear. Slightly soiled. Overall a EXCELLENT book in a GOOD PLUS dust jacket. Volume 1 only. Good gift item. . Signed by Author. First Edition. Full Cloth. Near Fine/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Hardcover.
