Large format book, brick red cloth binding with titles on spine and front cover stamped in gilt, color frontispiece, foreword by Major Charles Askins, bibliography, index, 494 pages. Illustrated with photographs and the plates in color and duotone are reproductions from paintings by Courtenay Brandreth. Signed by the author on the front endpaper. The book is protected with a custom made clear acetate dust jacket. Clean inside and out, unmarked copy, solid binding. Some foxing to the preliminary pages, titles on spine a little dull otherwise fine.
