Affixed label signed in facsimile by Evans inside front wrap addressing the new rule about throwing a glove or hat at a batted ball. Stapled oxidized, small split along the top of the spine, some overall wear and faint stains, about good. Evans, at 22 the "Boy Umpire" was the youngest to umpire a Major League game, and was only the third umpire elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame. *OCLC* locates only three copies (NYPL, Cleveland PL, and National Baseball Hall of Fame).
