About This Item
Signed. Second Edition of the 1983 book about Billie Sol Estes, whose name was synonymous with ammonia tanks and cotton farm leases. Everybody in Texas knew the name Billie Sol back then, older folks still do. He went to prison twice: once for the crime and another for not paying taxes on the crime. He said he knew everybody in politics on the outside and everybody in organized crime on the inside. He was about as colorful as it gets. The book is in very good condition. The Jacket has moderate shelf wear with lightly bumped corners. The pages are clean and unmarked. Nearly unread condition. Signed on the title page "God loves you and so do I, Billie Sol Estes, Jan. 10, 2006". There is another inscription to a recipient which is also signed by Billie Sol on the front flyleaf.
