Hodder & Stoughton, 1952. First Edition. Hardcover. Acceptable. Considerable Rubbing and wear to wrapper small areas of loss to top and bottom of spine and top front corner. Some rubbing and soiling but no fading. Has been internally reinforced with special non acidic archive tape and is in clear removable protective sleeve. . Price clipped, no inscriptions, illustrated. Very light spotting to end papers and edge of text block. Boards in good order although front board is slightly bowed, text is clean with little wear. Decent first edition reading copy, happy to send photos on request. Heavy book, will require additional postage outside the UK.
