The Brockhampton Press, Leicester, England, No date. Edition Unstated. Hardcover. Good Condition/Good. Illustrator: Leslie Stead. Light blue and white select coloured boards with green coloured titles to the back strip. Colour illustrated dustwrapper with black, yellow and white coloured titles to the front panel and red and black coloured titles to the back strip. 11 short stories featuring Detective-Inspector Bigglesworth (Biggles) of the International Police Commission. There is no publication date easily found in the book, but the book is part of the publisher's series Hampton Library  so probably 1962 for its publication. Softening of the back strip edges with rubbing of the book edges. Tanning of the text block edges and pages with a few foxing spots to the text block edges. Age toning and marking to the end pages. Foxing to the top and lower edges of the book. Some chipping to the dustwrapper corners with creasing and a few tears to the dustwrapper edges. Rubbing of the dustwrapper creases and the rear panel shows handling marks and a significant amount of rubbing. Light browning and foxing to the verso. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
