Octavo; red cloth, with titles stamped in gilt on spine; red topstain; dustjacket; 218pp. Bookplate signed by Doctorow loosely laid in. Touch of soil to upper board edges, with a few faint spots to topstain; Near Fine. Dustjacket is unclipped, lightly rubbed at the extremities, with the barest hint of yellowing to spine and upper edge of front panel, and a few closed tears; Very Good+. The author's second book, and his scarcest - a science fiction novel which he did not allow to be subsequently printed.
