Auction catalogue of 6th portion of new series of sales of manuscripts from the library of Thomas Phillipps, an English antiquary and book collector who amassed the largest collection of manuscripts in the 19th century. Lots 484-529 including Vitae Patrum (North Italy, c. 1000), Macrobius' De Somnio Scipionis (France, early 12th century), Pietro Jacopo de Jennaro' Clepsimoginon (Ferrara, 1471), Autograph Commonplace Book by Sir Walter Ralegh (1604-1608). The sale was conducted in London on 30 November 1971.
